Tap a player’s speed value for Video Speed. Use Change Speed on All Players for a shared rate, or hold Long-Press Fast Forward or Long-Press Slow Motion and release to restore the original rate.
Find the individual speed control
Tap a video to reveal its controls. The speed value beside the gauge icon belongs to that player; check this before changing just one clip.
Choose a sustained speed
Tap the speed value and adjust Video Speed, for example to 0.6×. Play the clip to inspect the movement. Remember Speed is a separate preference and is not needed for this adjustment.
Change all players together
Tap Change Speed on All Players in the bottom toolbar. Each tap cycles the common speed; inspect the values in both panes. The example sets both to 0.8× and then restores 1.0×.
Hold for a temporary change
Press and hold the rabbit button for fast playback, or the turtle for slow playback. The example shows 3× fast and 0.33× slow. Release to return to each player’s original rate.

Useful details
Check these details as you follow the steps.
The temporary multiplier is configurable
The displayed temporary rate depends on the starting speed and the long-press speed setting. Treat the example values as this configuration, not fixed rates for every user.
Playback speed does not export a new file
These controls change the viewing experience. To create a new video file, open the separate split-screen exporter and check its own timing settings.
Frequently asked questions
Why does holding the speed button do nothing?
Check Sync Playback. Temporary global speed changes are disabled while synchronization is active; turn it off and apply the change before trying again.
Why did the speed revert when I released?
That is how the hold gesture works. Use the speed value or the global speed action when you want the new rate to remain selected.
